Documentation is game changing.
One of our businesses Wealth Leads is tracking to 2X this quarter. That's great but it means a lot less time building and a lot more time working in the business doing client fulfillment. It was time to hire.
We brought on a new full time project manager and we're already seeing the relief. We could have seen relief substantially faster though with good documentation. I need to stop being such a slob!
Good reminder for myself to clean up my current processes even if I'm the only one in the process during this time. Good documentation not only is great for onboarding team members at an accelerated pace. It also makes it much easier to sell the business if we ever go down that path.
Zapier is the freaking best. I use it everywhere! There new AI functionality is pretty incredible as well. I literally just tell it "connect my email form submissions from my website to Convert Kit" and it does it. Can I call myself a developer now?
