Here’s the deal: every founder dreams of hitting that magical tipping point.
Where your business hits escape velocity, the charts go hockey stick, and you’re popping champagne on a Tuesday.
But it’s not about one big break. There’s no “magic button” or one power feature that makes everything click.
The truth? It’s a grind. It’s hundreds, no, thousands of little optimizations that build to those big wins.
You rewrite your landing page headline (again). You tweak your ad strategy (again). You retrain your team, talk to another customer, and figure out why nobody’s clicking that button you swore was genius.
It’s slow, it’s unsexy, but it’s what works.
I’ve been there. One of my businesses, WeHero, started as a browser extension (that nobody asked for). Over years of tiny tweaks, it evolved into a premium B2B social impact provider serving Fortune 1000 companies.
Did we stumble on the perfect formula on day one? Absolutely not. We tripped, fell, and found it after years of relentless micro-optimizations.
So, when you’re deep in the grind and feel like the tweaks don’t matter, remember this: success isn’t a lightning bolt. It’s the result of thousands of tiny change stacking up over time.

It’s like Zillow, but for people who want a little more space.

Seriously, it’s like Zillow, but instead of dreaming about a $1M starter home, you’re imagining yourself with a herd of bison and a cowboy hat.
Zillow used to be my guilty pleasure app. But now? I think I’m a land.com guy.
This is the point of the week where I'm very thankful I'm married and not weirding my dates out left and right. “So… what are you into?” “Oh, just been thinking a lot about bison” Yeah, no second date there. 😂
