For those of you that are new here, every week I send what I call a 1x1x1.

Let's dive in πŸ‘‡

Thought from the week

The View from 10,000 Feet (Or Why You're a Genius for Everyone Except Yourself)

Here's a weird phenomenon: when I'm running my own business, every decision feels like diffusing a bomb blindfolded.

But give me five minutes looking at someone else's business, and I'm suddenly Yoda.

The fog lifts, clarity arrives, and solutions come easy.

Ever wonder why?

Turns out, perspective is sneaky like that.

When you’re inside your business, you’re stuck deep in the weeds, fighting day-to-day battles, making decisions that feel heavy because the consequences are yours alone.

It's like trying to read a book when it's pressed against your face (good luck with that).

But take a step back (or better yet, let someone else take a look) and suddenly your business looks simpler, more obvious.

A trusted outsider has the luxury of distance, a 10,000-foot view that you don't have.

They're the passenger casually looking out the airplane window saying, "Dude, it's right there."

So here’s a cheat code for entrepreneurship: stop trusting only your own eyes.

Seek feedback from peers, advisors, or mentors.

Open your book, share your numbers, let them really see your business and your goals.

Let them point out the glaringly obvious moves you're too close to see.

The smartest founders aren't those who think they know everything.

They’re the ones smart enough to realize when to get out of their own way.

So find someone with clear eyes, who can calmly say, "Hey dude, try turning left instead."

Trust me, your business will thank you and so will your sanity.

Interesting find/tool of the week

Every week, a shiny new AI app builder pops up promising to make us all obsolete by Thursday.

Lately, I've been messing around with FlutterFlow.

Is it perfect? Nah.

But is it surprisingly awesome? Yeah, pretty damn close.

I'll dive deeper soon assuming another dozen AI tools don't launch tomorrow and distract me AGAIN.
